About

I'm Rayyan Cyclegar, a full time student studying Computer Science.

I am also a programming enthusiast, a hobby photographer, a wannabe sysadmin, and a practicing Muslim. I'm passionate about a lot of things, including programming, Islamic theology, politics, and privacy.

On this website I will occasionally write about tech, other topics I am interested in, or anything else I wish to share with the wider internet.

I primarily work with Python and Rust for my own projects, which you can typically find the source code for on my GitHub.
I've been programming for several years now, and I've grown passionate about programming languages, tooling, and writing correct and performant software. 1

I wrote this website using a home-grown static site generator cobbled together with Rust, grit, and not nearly enough tests.
